The Christmas Lesson
Once upon a time, Wil knew all the answers. No, not as a teenager; that kind of know-it-all is more a source of amusement; we know the dawning will come all too soon. This is was an adult being exposed - my self-righteous narrow mind in need of a timely lesson.

One of the most common phrases on earth is spoken from wife to husband, "I just don’t understand why you_____(_fill in the blank_)______. But, they’re not alone in this perspective:

In A Tree
It started, innocently enough, with a tree and my compulsion to climb it.

My Blindness
As the eagle spreads its spirit high above the rock lair of the lizard, so soars the Way of God beyond our earthbound grasp. On occasion, if our hearts are right, the fleeting shadow of purpose will lift us from our valley of blindness.

The Search
The icons began to melt in place as the stained glass bled in metaphor; and I remembered it was those robes of religion which had led Him to the Cross.

Pillows
 I will respect the need for variation in pillow doctrine as long as my specific comfort is respected. But, to those who insist I conform to some industry standard, I will give in to the need for a pillow fight.
