WHY, you might ask, would anyone choose the label of heretic; and what, you add, is the significance of being an heretic FOR Jesus? |

The answer should surprise you -- it certainly surprised me. |
Heretic: n. (From the Greek hairesis) One who weighs the evidence and decides for themself. In common usage: One who holds a difference of opinion from the decried norm thereby threatening the status quo. Often, the mere threat of being called such is sufficient to knock free thinkers back into the closet.

Free thinkers making their own choices based upon the evidence, huh? Sounds like the very thing these United States are based upon -- all part of our pioneer spirit. After all, we've all been TOLD what to swallow, but: |

If Christianity affords answers in a world without answers, why does the very term Christianity evoke such DIVERGENT emotions? |

If it's a message of love, why so much hate; of unity, why so much disagreement; if of harmony, why so much discord? |

Who was Jesus? Was He God as man, man of God, or something in between? |

What is sin? Why do the innocent suffer? If this is God's creation, why is it such a mess? AND, how could the devil have slithered into Eden without an omniscient and omnipotent God preventing such a thing? |
